Visit chateaux,medieval cities,restaurants

Our aim is to give you a wonderful holiday without you having to worry about making all the arrangements. Therefore, our price includes your accommodation with use of the swimming pool, sauna and fitness equipment; all transport (as specified), 5 golf fees, entry fees into chateaux etc, all meals. Lunch is normally a plat de jour (dish of the day) with a starter or a dessert, and a soft drink, a beer or a glass of wine. In the evening, we offer you an aperitif before taking you to a special restaurant for a gourmet meal and a bottle of good house wine. Ofcourse you can order more drinks or coffees, or from a different menu but this would be at your expense. Depending on the location, we sometimes offer a gourmet lunch instead of a gourmet dinner.

Day 1 Picked up by your host, Graham, at Poitiers or Tours Airport or the TGV (train) stations . Settle into your accommodation and relax with a stroll, swim, or sauna before     drinks and dinner with Graham and Jenny at La Bergerie. We can finalise your preferred options for the week over dinner.

Day 2. Breakfast then off to a beautiful golf course at Mignaloux Beauvoir (approx 35 minutes drive). Gourmet lunch at the fabulous Monor de Beauvoir. Visit the famous church, Notre-Dame-la-Grande at Poitiers, and watch the world go by as you relax in a pavement café.   Return to La Bergerie and then a light dinner at a local Creperie.

Day 3 Typical French breakfast then off to Haut Poitou golf club (only 15 mns)
             After an energetic 18 holes you can lunch in the restaurant overlooking the golf course and the lake.    Play a second round of golf,
            or visit the medieval city of Chauvigny. Return to La Bergerie, swim or relax before dinner in local gourmet resturant.

Day 4 Breakfast and off to Golf at Les Forges. This is just under one hour drive. After lunch at the club House we can visit the beautiful Abbey Royal de Fortevaud. Drinks at La Bergerie before Dinner at a Local gourmet restaurant.

Day 5 Non golf day. This is a more relaxing day. It can be used earlier or later in the week if the weather is not suitable for golf. We would suggest a later breakfast, and travel up to Chenonceaux, the fabulous chateau on the river Cher, and lunch at the chateau. Visit the gardens in the afternoon. Followed by a visit to Leonard De Vinci's house. Return to La Bergerie for a swim, sauna, and supper.

Day 6 Breakfast and then to Chateau de sept Tours for golf. A bar lunch at the golf course then off to Chateau Azay. Back to La Bergerie to relax then out to a gourmet restaurant.

Day 7 Breakfast. The choice of golf course is yours today! The visits will vary depending on where you play golf, but do not worry, there are plenty of magical places to visit. Ofcourse lunch and a special dinner is part of the itinery.

Day 8 Your last day. Breakfast and relaxation at La Bergerie until your departure, when we will take you to the station at Chatellerault, Poitiers or Tours, or the airports at Poitiers or Tours.
